Norwegian Sweater
Knitted in beautiful and durable blend of 30 % alpaca and 70 % merino wool, this warm raglan sweater is inspired by traditional patterns found on old knitting in the valley of Setesdal, Norway.
Knitted bottom up, it breaks the tradition a little by having a seamless raglan shaping for the shoulders.

The pattern is knitted in light beige color on a dark
grey-black background.

Setesdal is a 200 km long valley in South Norway that stretches a few miles from the coast and all the way up to West-Telemark and Hardangervidda.
Setesdal has one of the richest and best kept arts and crafts traditions in Norway.

The pattern will be free for a very limited time -
till january 1st 2018!

Wishing everyone a happy new year ♥ :)

Tip:

  • Add 6 short rows to lower the back, right BEFORE the chest pattern starts in the upper part of the body
  • Add 6 short rows AFTER the pattern and the raglan shaping is finished - to raise the back of the neck.
