I created the SHADED SHAWL as a means to relieve stress. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed and knitting is my stress reliever. I wanted to knit something that did not require a lot of instructions that keeps me in the pages of the pattern, but something I could blindly follow. This is a fairly simple pattern, it consists of knit stitches, yarn overs, and knit two stitches together decrease, and knit into the front and back loop increase.

Materials
450 yards of merino wool DK yarn in 2 colors, a solid color and a contrast color.
US 7 4.5mm Knitting Needle atleast 40 inches long.
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Blocking Mat and Pins

The gauge is not really necessary for this project. The final dimension might vary but its all up to you how large you want your triangle shawl.
