This listing is for a pattern to make the pictured crochet shamrock applique. It is not for the applique itself!!

This pattern works up very quickly and the shamrock is very versatile in application. It can be worked for application onto a pre-made quilt or blanket, or a party for St. Patrick’s Day! Perhaps a pin or a hair clip is what you fancy? The possibilities are as endless as your imagination.

The appliques work up to be approximately 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches according to the specifications in the directions. However, of course individual results may vary slightly.

Pattern is written for a beginner, but has a lot of direction changes when working up the leafs so attention must be paid to what direction you are working in.

I created this pattern because I wanted an applique that was bigger than an inch! This applique looks great on a flag sign for St. Patrick’s Day, but would be big enough to feature on a blanket for the Irish soul in your life.
