A special baby blanket knitted in DK weight yarn.

The easy to work pattern looks like little sail boats and would be just as pretty in a coloured yarn as it does in white.

Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced knitters, the pattern is easy to memorise once set up, so is ideal for a take along project. To work this pattern you should be able to knit and purl, decrease and work yarn overs. There is a central decrease in the pattern and this is explained fully in the abbreviations.

The pattern is written for two sizes of blanket, 71 x 81 cm / 28 x 32 inches and a larger 86 x 96.5 cm / 34 x 38 inches.

The pattern is charted as well as written so you can work from whichever you prefer.

Any suitable DK weight yarn is suitable.
