This is the grown up version of my Three Triangles Shawl - it features the same “three triangles” shawl, for a wrap that will stay put on your shoulders, but uses a textured stitch that is fun to work.

Shawl was named after one of our favorite beaches, Short Sands Beach in York, Maine, where the photos were taken.

You can use any weight of yarn, any hook, any gauge, and make any size shawl.

Finished shawl was made using yarn from a recycled thrift store sweater, approximately a DK weight, used 7.2 ounces, and measures 20” deep by 50” across after blocking.

Pattern was professionally tech edited by Tracie Barrett, http://traciebarrett.com/.

Many thanks to my testers, BeverlyGoulet, Tinochka7, ppremdas, laurie2011, debspugs, Leilacnm, bjclark63, and purlingkitten!

Feel free to make as many of these as you like for local craft fairs/auctions/raffles/bazaars.
