This beginner friendly, small-sized blanket sweater/shrug pattern is made by knitting a basic rectangle on circular needles. I prefer circular needles to work the rectangular piece comfortably. Already, a circular needle is required to work the button band.
It creates blanket like fabric using the double moss stitch for the main portion and garter stitch for the button band. Buttons are attached for ease of wearing. It is a piece that can be worn comfortably all winter long.
