SideSwiped is a long, narrow shawl that sports an easy eyelet and stripe motif, and then it is ‘sideswiped’ with a large solid color short-row section. Instructions are written only, no charts. You should already be familiar with wrapping stitches and picking up the wraps while binding off. Also, a row counter is very useful for this pattern.

This pattern is part of a new ebook collection, The SideKick Trio. The ebook includes three shawls that begin with typical triangle construction, and end with a ‘kick’ on one or both sides. The other two patterns in the ebook are SideKicked and SideStepped.
