If you have ever been on Signal Hill on a winter’s day (or even a chilly autumn one for that matter), you probably wished for some nice, cozy socks to keep your feet warm. These DK weight socks fit the bill and the winding cabling reminds me of the sign there that points to cities
all over the globe.

This lovely cabled sock is knit in DK weight yarn and is a quick knit; it’s even quicker if you cable without a needle.

Instructions provided are suitable for adventurous beginners.

Many thanks to Shireen for her beautiful photography and layout skills, and to Caryn, Elizabeth and Mary for their invaluable help in test knitting!
