Silver Fir Hat will keep you cozy during colder months with beautiful cables gracing the crown like a forest of fir trees reaching for the sky. The horizontally knit brim keeps the knitting interesting, while also adding a snug fit around the ears. Two buttons add the finishing touch — perfect for those leftover cardigan buttons that are too pretty not to show off! A solid or semi-solid DK weight yarn will showcase this pattern best.

Be sure to check out the coordinating Silver Fir Cowl and Silver Fir Mitts too!

This pattern assumes knowledge of cabling, picking up stitches, working in the round, and attaching buttons to correspond with buttonholes. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns.
