You need about 150 yd in total for adult female size (fits head ≈ 21.5” (55 cm) circumference and ≈ 7.5” depth (19 cm)), colors: ecru, yellow, light blue, blue, dark blue, dark gray, gray, beige.

Some crocheting tips:

  1. Use fingering (or light fingering) yarn to make this hat. I used Begonia YarnArt.
  2. Use a 2.2 mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
  3. Make a standing stitch when you start with new color.
  4. You may use different ways of joining. Choose the one works the best for you.
  5. Be sure to wet the finished product and dry it on a dummy (or a ball that matches the size of the head).
