This is just a simple recipe for making quick soft bunnies. Years ago I improvised one of these with a knitted square and was asked several times how I did it, so here it is.
I don’t take credit for this design as it is super simple and can be easily modified and improvised.
These bunnies can be easily turned into teethers if added a wooden theether at the bottom.

Suggested needles: 4mm/ US6 I suggest circular but if you are making a small bunny DPNs work too.
Yarn: about 70gr of DK weight yarn. You can use any yarn you want (wool or cotton) but will have to change your needles accordingly. I recommend to knit a small swatch and see how you like the drape and fabric.
Gauge: 5 stitches x 5 rows = 2.5 cm/1’’ in garter stitch measured after blocking. Gauge is not relevant for this project.
Other notions: darning needles, small amount of wool or leftover yarn to stuff the head. Optional: thread to embroider eyes, progress keeper, wooden tether.
