Slightly there is a petite shawl in a comfortable crescent shape. Knitted with a single Lightly skein as shown, this piece feels very light and airy. Knitted top down in Stockinette and Garter stitches, with a simple balanced eyelet grid pattern middle accent which is easily memorized.

The pattern is fully written and also has a chart. It measures 56” in length and 12.25” in middle height.

Yarn used
One Lightly skein, 238 yards. A mix of 7 yarns in as many colors in portions of 34 yards each, all hand wound into one skein to get the look. Fibers range from cotton, linen, rayon and blends thereof.

Notions needed
US size 6 (4 mm) circular needle 36” (91 cm) in length.
6 Stitch markers
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge
16 sts and 24 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch in light fingering weight.

Techniques applied
Knit and purl flat, increases, color changes, easy lace, I-cord bind off, weave in ends and block for best results.
