I have a new love for cowls. It’s the accessory you don’t have to fuss with to keep it in place like you might a shawl. You slip it over your head and you’re done. This cowl is extra soft with the mohair lining the inside which makes it super cozy to wear.

Pattern Notes: If you don’t want mohair fuzz you could use any fingering weight yarn held single or lace weight held double. Suri alpaca held single would be a great substation if you want a fuzzy lining but don’t like mohair.

Finished measurements: 13” wide and 8.5” tall.

Yarn: Dyed By Delz Main color: Delz DK Twist 100% Superwash merino, 245 yds/225 m per 100g in the colorway Cheryl Coals Grey. Used 80g in cowl.
Contrast Color: held double throughout, Delz Silk Mohair 72% kid mohair 28% silk,
460 yds/420 m per 50g in colorway Abadors Waters. Used 20g in cowl.

Needles: 3.75mm/US 5 24” and 4.5mm/US 7 24”.

Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle and faux fur pompom.
