Meet Smiles & his family of Mini Monster’s. The Smiles Family are happy little monsters, who love to have fun. They are great companions, but be aware, you might just find one of them hiding in your pocket, in hope that they can accompany you on your next new exciting adventure.

This little monster is a great pattern for any crochet lover, or a beginner crocheter. It uses the simple Amigurimi method of crocheting in the round and is easy to follow. Hope you enjoy it.

Level
Easy (This pattern is written with UK Crochet terminology.)

Yarn
Uses 12g DK yarn in any colour. You will also need a small amount of black DK yarn for the eyes, eyebrows & smile. (Alternatively for the eyes, you could use a pair of 10mm safety eyes, instead of some black yarn.)

Alternatives
Smiles can be made in different weighted yarns, just choose your crochet hook accordingly. For an alternative hair, you can sew a Pom Pom onto top of the body, instead of the crochet chain hair used in the pattern.
