After looking at all the incredible patterns in the book “A Treasury of Knitting Patterns” by Barbara G. Walker, I was inspired to create a pillow for my bed using the Smocking Stitch pattern.
After countless notes on loose paper, crossed out sections, and all around knitting chaos, I decided to sit down and create a pattern. The pattern was mainly for myself so I could duplicate it again in the future but I’ve decided to share it and upload to Ravelry.
So, here it is… my first attempt at pattern writing. It’s yours to use and I hope you like it.

I used 9 skeins of Rowan Lima yarn.
