This wall hanging uses several different yarns and crochet stitches to provide the texture and colour changes symbolic of a rocky mountain stream. It will add depth and color to any wall and may provide a sense of calm that comes from being close to a mountain stream.

I hope you enjoy making this wall hanging as much as I enjoyed designing it. It was so much fun watching the fabric change with each new yarn and stitch added. You are encouraged to choose new colors and yarns to create a hanging that will suit your wall. It is a great way to stash bust but try and use similar yarn weights to those indicated, as the most challenging part of this piece is ensuring that the sides stay relatively well aligned with the changing weights and stitches. Please share your versions on my socials.

This pattern is worked in rows; it is important to pay attention to the right vs. the wrong side of the fabric.
