Snow and Ashes Shawl: Snow and Ashes Shawl is created in Tunisian crochet to represent storylines in Outlander season six, based on the book ‘A Breath of Snow and Ashes’ by Diana Gabaldon. Each solid color section has a different Tunisian stitch for each of Claire’s challenges: Brick pattern for building a life after trauma, bobbles for stoning, scratch stitch for fever delirium, Scottish knitting stitch for the Christies, cross stitch for being crossed by Malva, raised rib for prison, mesh stitch for the house damaged in the siege, and staggered crescent stitch for Claire and Jamie being separated. This pattern has been created using Honey Girl Farms Honey Sport Yarn with two skeins of color Frank Randall (looking like drifting snow) and one skein of color Pure Silver (ashes). Written instructions are provided for each of the stitches used.
