Sorrel
A somewhat fussy but beautiful crochet square inspired by my time in Sorrel, Tasmania and our wonderful 2015 vacation there.
This square is rated as advanced beginner due to the use of popcorn stitches and back loop details. It is not recommended that a complete beginner make this but if you’re like me you may be up to the challenge :-) I’m always available to help.
Sorrel measures 12” when made with Vanna’s Choice with a 5mm (H) hook to gauge (which is stated in the pattern). I’ve also made it in additional colorways with different yarns and added rows to reach size.
Although I like to change colors each round the choice is yours. I used 8 colors and have advised on when and which color to select in the pattern so that you can recreate my square if you wish.
The pattern has been fully tested and edited (my wonderful testers are amazing), but we’re all human so if you find an error please contact me so that I may update the instructions and no one else will have to suffer!
