This Mosaic Crochet Throw seems difficult but is very easy in execution. Mosaic Crochet is very similar to Mosaic Knitting. You work one color per row, with drops (often called a long double crochet stitch) to the row of the second color to make the vertical lines. This is the easiest way to learn colorwork in knitting, and I think it is true for crochet as well. Enjoy!

Note: I originally made the chart first, and crocheted a blanket from it. I looked at the pattern in the blanket, and would simply keep in pattern while expanding. When I decided to write it out fully, I looked at the chart and wrote it out based on that. As such, there were many errors in the original written portion. Yes, next time I will take my pattern to a group of testers beforehand to prevent all of the error changes. You will find details of the changes below.

Update 2/17/2017

I’ve overhauled this pattern. It is now fully written out, and separated into two pdfs. One is the written pattern, the other is the chart files. Please re-download this pattern if you downloaded it before to get the new updates.
