One of our favorite family activities in the fall is going to our favorite local cider mill. Walking through the apple-laden trees with a freshly baked, still-hot doughnut in one hand and a cup of cold cider in the other is the perfect setting for this textured, super bulky hat!

Materials
• 1 skein of Ada Super Bulky from Adelaide Fiber Company (100% Superwash Merino; 77 yds / 3.5 oz) o “Apple Smash” colorway, developed exclusively for Seed Club
• size US 10.5 / 6.5 mm (or one size smaller than gauge), 16” circular needle
• size US 11 / 8 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge), 16” circular needle
• size US 11 / 8 mm, double pointed needles
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
• Furreal Pom, color #15 Creek Nutria
• Sewing thread and needle (for attaching pom)
