This pattern is written in U.K. terms for both knitting and crochet instructions. It’s an easy pattern for beginners to get to grips with a 2x2 rib and experienced crafters will also enjoy this too. It’s a lovely design that you can modify and add a pompom, or just the flower as I have to make a Crazy Cactus tea cosy. It would make a lovely gift or for a charity sale. There are many variations of tea cosy patterns, this is my method for a quick satisfying knit.

The inspiration for my pumpkin tea cosy came from my knitted pumpkins I made as gifts during October 2018.
