What a perfect way to spread the message of love! This sweater is knit in one color and the heart pattern is embroidered on using the duplicate stitch. I enjoyed this method for the extra thickness and dimension of the heart. It would be really fun with a textured or eyelash yarn or multiple colors or variegated yarn.
Included is a quick photo tutorial of the duplicate stitch embroidery method, however intarsia or a stranded colorwork may also be used while you work. The heart design chart may also be used for other projects such as pillows, blankets, or on other garments.

Choose a size that is 6-8”/15-20cm larger than your chest measurement. Model shown is wearing 42”/107cm on 34”/86cm chest circumference.
