A classic raglan sleeve sweater, cropped, knitted from the top-down in one piece.
This type of construction allows you to make changes in the measurements (size) easily, keep in mind that if you make changes the amount of yarn you will need will vary.
A basic design with a few details, like a panel of lacework and cables on the front, back and sleeves; and a bottom edging longer at the back and open on the sides.
