The Standing Firm wrap symbolizes the life of the modern woman. The rib stitches in the wrap stretch sideways and the welt stitches stretch upwards and downwards. They reflect the challenges and obstacles we deal with and even though they stretch us in all directions they result in growth and resilience. The two side i-cords symbolize the strength and support we receive from family and friends.

The pattern is made up of just knit and purl stitches. It is an intermediate level design due to the high level of detail required. It knits up fast on Aran weight yarn. Both written and charted instructions are provided.

Due to the large number of stitches the chart has to be enlarged for easy usage or printed on A3 paper.
