This is the pattern for those skeins of super bulky yarn you bought and haven’t used!!

In the popular TV serial, Outlander, Claire unexpectedly travels back to the 18th-century Scottish Highlands when she visits the standing stones at Craigh na Dun, near Inverness, in Scotland in 1945. The stones stood tall and large and Claire was drawn to one particular stone, and when she laid her hands on the stone she was thrust backwards in time by 200 years to 1745.

Designed for a local yarn store, this pattern is an easy two-row repeat with vertical rows of stitches that stand out from the rest of the stitches.

Crocheted with super bulky yarn, the Standing Stones Cowl is a fast and easy project, and perfect for gift giving.
