The STAR SHAPE is great for knitting ornaments, embellish clothes, accessories, decorate greeting cards, journals, or as table decorations for patriotic holidays like the upcoming 4th of July!

Use any size needles and any type of yarn.

This pattern is a quick knit of 43 short rows to complete the STAR and in my tutorial video (http://youtu.be/fAWzNmWesv8), I highlight the key stitches and techniques to help you better understand the pattern.

The materials to use are the basics of two knitting needles, yarn in the correct weight for your needles in any color, scissors, a tapestry needle, and one additional knitting needle so that you can hold your stitches while you knit the first of the bottom legs of the star.

These are the Stitches required to complete the STAR SHAPE:
Slip Knot, Knit, Cable Cast On, the increase stitch Knit One Make One. We also will use the decrease stitch Knit Two Together, as well as the decrease combination Slip a Stitch, Knit One, Pass Slipped Stitch Over.

Fun Quick Knit!
