Important: This Mochila Starburst Footstool Topper / Pillow Cover can only be made with 12 increases.

This pattern focuses on the crochet work only. While I briefly describe how I used the piece to make a pillow cover or footstool topper, detailed sewing or upholstery instructions are not included.

The Mochila Starburst Cover is crocheted in single crochet through the back loop only. You crochet over 5 yarns.

The pattern consist of 17 pages and includes:

• Written instructions for the Mochila technique.
• Links to videos explaining the technique.
• Written instructions and a graph.

The diameter of the footstool topper is 37 cm / 14.6 inch.
The diameter of the pillow cover is 40 cm / 15.7 inch.

The sizes are based on using the recommended yarn. The size may vary, as everyone crochets differently. Using a different yarn may also affect the final measurements.

The Mochila Starburst Cover is crocheted with mercerized cotton (125 meter per 50 gram).

Materials used (based on 50 gram skeins, of the recommend yarn):
2 skeins of the lightest color
1 skein of the other five colors
2 mm crochet hook
