This is a simple and easy but fun to knit cowl knit in Drops Air; a fluffy, soft, blown, worsted/aran weight yarn. The cowl is great for gift knits, transitional months, a quick in-between project, and much more. Knit up as many as you’d like! It’s a one skein project, so you can use any yarn you’d like (you’ll need at least 100 yards). This cowl is great for beginners and advanced knitters alike.

Yarn: The yarn I used was Drops Air 164 yards worsted/aran weight in color Purple Haze. Feel free to use any worsted weight-bulky yarn you would like. You will need about 100 yards (or less/more depending on gauge and/or modifications).
Needles: size 7 US 16 inch circular knitting needles. Use needles that will fit your yarn choice, since gauge doesn’t matter much for this project.

Gauge: (gauge doesn’t matter too much, but will affect how much yarn you use and the finished size of your cowl) 17 sts and 28 rounds over 4 inches in knit 1, purl 1 rib in the round.

Finished Size: (unblocked) approximately 9.5” wide, and 5” tall (with the edges rolled) if gauge is met.

Thank you for looking!
