Fun garter details add a bit of visual interest to this casual unisex pullover. Women’s sizes include waist shaping and a faux pocket at the hip, while unisex sizes are a straight knit from underarm to hem with a faux chest pocket.

Construction is a variation of the top-down, seamless, simultaneous set-in sleeve method described by Barbara Walker in Knitting From the Top.

Go for fitted or slouchy, whatever you like! Modeled women’s pullover in first photos is worn with 2-3 inches of positive ease.

Yes, suggested yarns are all over the map for this one! The grey and blue sweaters shown were both knit with doubled fingering weight which turns out to be somewhere in the DK/worsted range. The brown sweater was knit with Cascade 220. Some of the suggested yarns are heavy DKs; others are light worsteds. Anything you can get gauge with is fine! (Yardage figures given are for single-stranded DK/worsted weight.)
