Anyone who knows me very well knows that I love all types of coffee, even the super sweet coffee drinks. I met Bogga of Knitting In France at a recent fibre festival. We decided to work together on this collaboration. The yarn she gave me to work with instantly reminded me of the Strawberries and Cream Frappé coffee drink.

About the socks: The majority of the socks are a cabled/texture pattern that reminds me of strawberries. Just before the cuff of the sock, there is a section of twisted stitches that remind me of the cream on top of a frappé. The cuff follows in the pattern of the cream section without the twisted stitches.

It’s time to grab your Strawberries & Cream Frappé, your yarn, & your needles & cast on your socks. Happy Knitting!

These socks are knit using the magic loop method (although the purchaser could easily adapt it for two circulars or double points).

Judy’s Magic Cast On and Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off are used in this pattern.

The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: knit, purl, ktbl, yo, k2tog, SSK, M1R, M1L, W+T, twisted stitches, & cables. Instructions for all these techniques are included in the pattern. In addition, a video tutorial for the shadow wrap technique of W+T for short rows has been recorded by the designer.

This pattern includes instructions in both written and chart forms for 56 stitch, 64 stitch, and 72 stitch socks.

Huge thanks to my amazing test knitters: Andrea (angeiship), Ashleah (a1dawen), Rosie (rosiejpm), & Susan (clucks). ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
