A double thick novelty fish crochet potholder that works up quickly.

Simple stitches alternating to create a fish scale look. Potholder is a generous 8” x 15” size for great hand coverage to keep you safe in the kitchen.

Fish is worked in the round, no seaming.

Pattern uses two colors of category 4 cotton yarn (80 yards of each)
5.5 mm crochet hook
small amounts of accent yarn for the eye
1 1/“ or 1 1/2 “ ring for the “hook” in the mouth that allows for convenient hanging (metal or wood)
