You will need a long tunisian crochet hook 4.5 mm (US 7), a regular crochet hook of the same size, aran yarn, I used Wolle Rödel Universal, 2-3 skeins red as main color and 1 skein each of 9 additional colors, a piece of flexible foam material 32 x 26 x 3 cm (12.5 x 10 x 1 in), 7 small buttons, asewing needle and thread, and a tapestry needle.
