This bandana / shawlette features stripes that are interrupted by sections of garter eyelets combined with a Windowpane slip stitch pattern.

The accessory is knit from the top down, and shaped by increasing six stitches on each right-side row. An optional, decorative pendant is attached to the bottom point after blocking.

I used three shades of Brown Sheep Luxury Sock Yarn for this accessory: Blue Bird, Vanilla, and Gunsmoke. There was sufficient yarn left over to increase the size, which can easily be done by adding sections of stripes separated by sections of Garter Eyelet/Windowpane slip stitch.
