Strofi headband (from Greek “twist”) is a classic double headband with a modern twist of a cable running across the front and meeting on the back.

Please note, the pattern has only been tested by me.

Stitches and techniques: provisional cast on, knit, purl, cable knitting, grafting.
Size: one adult & teen size, width after blocking 10.5 cm /4.13 in.
Yarn: 67 g of Drops Nepal or any similar aran or worsted yarn and a scrap of contrasting colour yarn for provisional cast on.
Needles: 4.5 mm (US 7) double pointed needles, 1 stitch marker, 2 cable needles if needed, crochet hook and/or tapestry needle to weave in the ends and grafting the seam.
Gauge: 15 sts and 20 rows in 10 cm with stockinette stitch.
