Stugustårsa -
means Girl from Stugun, a small village in Northern Sweden.

This is a beautiful, fitted and almost jacket like cardigan with a zipper. The gingham bottom is knitted on circular needles with 3 colours, whereas the top is knitted back and forth on regular needles using 2 colours. The striped hems have an accent colour, making it a total of 4 colours. (4-5 skeins C1 and C2, 1-2 skeins C3 and 1 skein C4)

Stugustårsa comes in 4 sizes: S, M, L, XL. It is knitted in Rauma Finullgarn, but any sport weight yarn will do as long as the gauge is the same.

This is an easy-to-follow pattern with written instructions (English or Swedish) and charts. It may not be the best beginners project since the construction takes some focus.

I hope you will have fun knitting and wearing this cardigan!
