With this knitting pattern, you can make yourself a stylish dishcloth with a graphic zigzag motif.

Structured and Reversible
This dishcloth not only looks amazing, but is also very nice to work with as it is flexible, structured and strong at the same time. The zigzag structure is reversible and also helps with the cleaning. On one side the knit stitch zigzags are broader than the purl stitch zigzags and on the other side it is the other way around.

Rectangle
While most dishcloths are squares, I make them rectangular. The reason? I once ran out of yarn Then I found out that I actually really liked the rectangular shape. It is easier to stuff the narrow side into glasses and mugs and as a bonus, the dishcloth can dry on top of my kitchen faucet without having to fold it. Try it and see if you like it too! If not, you can easily adjust this pattern and make your dishcloth a square.

Adjustable
You can make this dishcloth exactly to your liking, changing the color and size if you want to. In the pattern you will find out how to adjust these things. Choose whatever color makes you happy or matches your kitchen and you have never seen such a cute dishcloth before. It almost makes doing the dishes fun!

Skill level
Easy: If you can knit and purl, you can make this!

Yarn
I used 1 ball of 50 g of fine cotton yarn. I like to use Schachenmayr Catania or Scheepjes Catona yarn, but you can use any fine yarn that is 100 % cotton.

Free Gift Labels
If you are planning to make this dishcloth as a gift, Home of Yarns also has a gift for you! You get free printable gift labels and wraps to make your gift look even more awesome.

Languages
This pattern is available in 4 languages: UK English, USA English, German (Deutsch) and Dutch (Nederlands)!

Color blind friendly
I made an effort to make all of the Home of Yarns patterns color blind friendly, with dark text on a white background and if a chart is included, it is always in addition to written out instructions. For the charts, I use symbols in either black and white or other highly contrasting color combinations. I am quite positive that I did a good job, but I am no expert on color blindness.
