This amigurumi Cuddlefish inspired from the brilliant game Subnautica is relatively quick and easy to make.

The finished fish should come out at aprox 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall with it’s bum flat on the floor, and a total of 11 inches (28cm) circumference with tentacles extended.
If you use 4mm wool and hook like I did then these approximations should be accurate.

Find yourself a Cuddlefish egg randomly scattered around and spend some time and care hatching this lovely creature. It will become your new best friend and companion, loyally following you to the most darkest and scariest of places while always presenting you with a loving, warm smile! Truly one of the best companions around!
So why not show it some love by making one for yourself? It’d also make a brilliant gift for any Subnautica fan :)

Stitches used: SC, INC, DEC, CH, HDC (optional)

I crocheted the eyes for my Cuddlefish, however using felt and glue or needle felting for the pupils / iris is an option.
