Shawl construction
Summar is constructed as a classic Faroese shawl. It’s a variation of a triangular shawl with a middle gusset and increases around the shoulders. The increases make the shawl stay in place as it hugs your shoulders and can simply “hang” off your shoulders without slipping off like some triangular shawls do.
