This pattern is for girls and women. It’s a simple classic modified dropped shoulder shape with a knitted on band and V neck. Band is embellished with machine knitted piping, then hand worked lattice to get the effect. Any 2 bed standard gauge machine may be used. This includes Japanese machines like Brother and Studio that have ribbers as well as European double bed machines like Passap and Superba. Notes for all these are included. (Knittax ribbers only have every other needle compared to the main bed and therefore can’t knit this type of ribbing.) 2x2 industrial ribbing is used for hem. There are video links within the pattern to take you directly to demos for the ribbing, band and embellishing techniques.

Small amounts of 2 contrasting colors of yarn are needed. Main yarn may be a fingering yarn such as Tamm 3 ply or a composite of thin industrial yarns run together to get the gauge.
