A splash of colour enlivens the pale cottons and linens of summer. The tussah silk single is a slightly fuzzy heavy lace/light fingering/European 4-ply weight with a bit of grip, and gives this scarf a lovely, rustic texture. Light and comfortable to knit when it’s just too hot for wool, this scarf is the perfect summer accessory. This pattern takes 1/2 skein of the suggested yarn, including swatching.

The border has lace patterning on both sides, including some p2tog tbl. The main body stitch is easy to memorize, and uses double yarn overs for a very open, lacy effect. Pattern is charted only.

Notions: blocking pins, blocking wires (optional), 4 stitch markers (optional), tapestry/yarn needle for weaving in ends
