Summer Swing starts at the top with garter stitch straps that are knit in the round. Designed to be a loose fitting top, it can be customized to your own personal size, adding as many stitches as you’d like after the top band is complete.

It can also be customized to work the lace panel on one or both sides of the garment creating the shape you prefer. Want to keep it simple, leave out the lace but work the increases to create a simple trapeze look.

Because it’s worked from the top down, it can be worked to any length desired. The given amount of yarn is for the sizes listed below, so additional yarn may be required to make it longer or add the lace panels to both sides.

Finished length: 23.5 (24, 24.5, 25, 26, 27.5, 28, 29) including straps; 18.5 (18.5, 19, 19, 19.5, 20.5, 21, 21.5) back length

YARN: Mariquita: 50% Baby Alpaca, 50% Tencel, 3.5 oz (100g) = 400 yds by The Alpaca Yarn Company 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) hanks.
