Sun Shower Washcloth
This is a fun little washcloth/dishcloth that can be knit up in just an hour or two (or less!).
Using just knits, purls, and slipped stitches, it creates a textured fabric that is fun to work as well as look at. I came up with the name ‘Sun Shower Washcloth’ because when I see the stitch pattern, it reminds me of raindrops on a sunny day (because of the yellow, but you can use any color you’d like).
Yarn: I used Knit Picks Cotlin dk weight 123 yards (112 meters) for my sample, in the color Canary. Feel free to use any cotton blend dk weight you would like, make sure you have at least 70-90 yards (60-82 meters).
Needles: the needles I used were size 6 US (4.00 mm) circular knitting needles. You can also use straight knitting needles, it doesn’t really matter. Just make sure your needle size fits the yarn you are working with.
Gauge: 10 stitches and 16 rows over 2 inches in stitch pattern knit flat.
Finished Measurements: 5.5” by 5.5” square.
Thank you so much!
