Who doesn’t want to knit their own giant whale of the deep, blue ocean. And who wouldn’t want to give her a tusked companion in the form of a magnificent narwhal?

Patterns for both are included in the PDF.

The finished size of the whale sample is 22cm, and the narwhal sample is 30cm/12” from the end of the Narwhal’s tusk to the top if his beautifully fluked tail, but the size of your finished creation will be determined by your choice of yarn and needles. A really chunky yarn and needle combo will give a really chunky whale. 3 or 4ply yarn and small needles will give a pocket-sized companion. Any smooth yarn of any weight can be used, but it is recommended that you use needles one or two sizes smaller than those suggested on the yarn ball band to achieve a tight gauge and avoid the filling from showing.
