Did you know that you needed a big fat strawberry stuffie in your life? The best part is that the main portion knits up in minutes with the help of Super Bulky yarn. The stem takes about an hour to complete using worsted weight yarn. If you don’t have this chunky yarn on hand, you can hold strands of lighter weight thread together to get appropriate gauge. Finished berry measures about 4.5” tall. Makes a great baby gift, especially with a rattle insert included.

NOTIONS:
Pair US 15 / 10 mm knitting needles
Pair US 7/ 4.5 mm knitting needles
Tapestry, Embroidery Needles

MATERIALS:
20g Super Bulky Wt. Red
5g Worsted Wt. Green
Worsted Wt. Golden Brown (opt. Seeds)
20g Super Bulky Brown/ Sm. Amt. Red for chocolate covered version

GAUGE:
Different size needles and yarn can be substituted. Gauge is not important for this
project so long as the yarn for the main berry portion is proportionally scaled to the stem portion (with appropriate needles selected.)

SKILLS:
Basic knitting technique, with simple increases, decreases, seaming. Detached chain stitch is used to embroider the optional seeds.
