Susitna features an asymmetrical shape, clean modern lines, and a unique pleated top that gives the hat just the right amount of slouch. This hat is knit from the bottom up, and uses German short rows to form the asymmetrical shape and create the contrasting stripes. Susitna is written with the intent to make the most of 2 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor.

Materials:
• One skein each of two contrasting colors of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (sample shown in Thaw and Tincture). Color A (CA) and color B (CB)
• 16” circular needles in sizes US 4 (3.5mm) and US 6 (4.0mm), and DPNs in size US 6 (4.0mm); or size needed to obtain gauge
• At least 5 stitch markers, preferably different styles or colors
• Measuring tape
• Tapestry needle
• Size US G-6 (4mm) crochet hook (optional)

Gauge: 22 stitches = 4” (10cm) over stockinette stitch in the round, using larger needles.

Sizes: Adult S (M, L). Finished hat fits 18-20 (20-22, 22-24)”; 46-51 (51-56, 56-61) cm circumference head.
