In the spring, little farms across Maine hold “Maple Sugar Days”--an open farm day for families to come and learn about how Maple Syrup is made. This pattern is inspired by a wonderful local family, the Symonds, who make Maple Syrup at their house. Crisp ribbing gives way to a delicate Anglaise stitch, reminiscent of the maple tree’s buds as they spring forth.

Modeled on location by Emily Symonds.
