Go for a twirl in these pretty textured socks. Easy to memorize knit and purl patterns are used in stripes that swirl down the leg and taper off the instep. A great pattern for men and women alike.

The socks are knitted from the cuff down with different textured patterns. The heel is worked with a heel flap and gusset. The diagonal stripes are continued and ended on the instep. There are instructions given for ‘left’ and ‘right’ sock, though the instructions refer only to the direction in which the stripes slant – you can wear them whichever way you like or even work both socks the same way.

The pattern includes three sizes: Women’s S, M and L to fit leg circumference 17.5 (20.5, 23) cm 7 (8, 9)“. Leg length including heel results in 20 (22, 24) cm 8 (8.75, 9.5)” when knit as given in the pattern. Foot length is adjustable.

You can choose to work the textured pattern either from the charts or the written instructions.
