One of the things I love most about working in the fibre industry is connecting to other small business and meeting the wonderful people behind them.

When I first came across Wild Wood Stitches I fell head overheels in love with the work Harriet was doing. Gorgeous, handmade project bags designed and made by Harriet herself in the hills above Loch Ness inScotland.

When she reached out to me to see if I was interested in creating a patternto go with her Christmas Bag Kits. Of course I said yes! My brief was this;create a hat pattern based on the fabric Harriet had selected. I had creativefreedom, but if I was so inclined, something using two colours withcontrasting bobbles and brim would be fun. Contrasting bobbles? Be still my woolly heart!

I love the final pattern, and I hope you do too! Happy knitting! x
