Taarnby Sweater is a classic raglan sweater, worked top-down in one piece. It has a simple construction, with a small standing collar and a great fit. A very good wardrobe staple.

Circular needles and double pointed needles. Needle 4 / US 6 / UK 8 for Stockinette Stitch. Needle 3 / US 3 / UK 11 for ribbing.

Gauge & swatch
20 stitches x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in stockinette stitch on needle 4 / US 6 / UK 8 after wash and blocking.

Swatch
Remember to always make a gauge swatch before starting the project to find the right needle size for you. It is important that your gauge is right, for the fit to be as intended.
If your gauge is not right, make a new swatch with different needles:
Too few stitches on 10 cm / 4“ => try with half or a whole needle size smaller Too many stitches on 10 cm / 4“ => try with half or a whole needle size bigger.
