The Taïga Shawl is a definitely a distinctive shawl.

It’s a right angled triangle, made from 1 peak to one side.
There is 2 different lace pattern used, one as panel in the shawl alternating with stockinette and one as the edging.

Event though simple stitches are used, we don’t recommend this pattern for beginner.
If you are a beginner and still want to try it, feel free to do so and ask question while working on the project. We will be more than happy to help you finish it.

For the sample, I used 2 skeins with the strand held together, giving me a lace/fingering weight. To do it, 1 strand was a cobweb strand and the other one lace.
You can begin directly with fingering yarn, as you can see in projects already made it’s working really fine.

To wear it, you can let the design in your back and bring all the peaks in the front or, wear it in the front with the beginning on top of your shoulder.
